History
T. A. Braithwaite Insurance BrokerS & Co Ltd (RC 54523 / TIN 00359381-0001) was established in Lagos in April 1958 as the first indigenous Insurance Broking Company in Nigeria.
In 1968 T. A. Braithwaite Insurance Brokers Ltd (RC 01619755) was established in England.
Both companies operating uninterrupted for over half a century makes us the most experienced Africa focused Insurance broker in our specialized areas of Insurance.

Insurance is a business of utmost good faith. Our Late founder Mr. Talabi Adebayo Braithwaite ACII, FCIB, CON. The Doyen of Insurance in Africa is known throughout Africa and the World for being the First African to become an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London in 1951. He was the first African to incorporate a Lloyds Broking company in London in 1968 and the first non-white to become an underwriting member of Lloyds.
